A 2D pre-echo<\/strong> can be done with us starting at 8 weeks of pregnancy.<\/strong> This ultrasound can be performedthroughout pregnancy, up to approximately 42 weeks<\/strong>.<\/p>


A 3D\/4D pretecho<\/strong> is possible from 14 weeks of pregnancy<\/strong>. The best images ariseusually between 26 and 31 weeks<\/strong>, as the baby often has some fuller cheeksby this time. <\/p>


After 31 weeks, it can sometimes become more difficult to make clear 3D images. This may be due to: <\/p>

<\/p>

  • the amount of amniotic fluid<\/li>
  • the location of the baby<\/li>
  • an anterior placenta<\/li>
  • a higher BMI of the mother<\/li>
  • scars<\/li>
  • a multiple pregnancy<\/li><\/ul>

    It is possible that during the ultrasound the baby may be lying at an unfavorable angle<\/strong>, making it harder to see the baby’s face orcertain details.<\/p>


    During the ultrasound we try different things to get a better view of the baby,for example:<\/p>

      In a sex determination ultrasound<\/strong>, we use the ultrasound machine to look at the genderof your baby.<\/p>

      Yes, we also offer 6D transformations<\/strong>.<\/p>


      A 6D transformation is an image enhancement of a 3D ultrasound<\/strong>. Using specialsoftware, the 3D ultrasound is made even more realistic and detailed<\/strong>. <\/p>


      We recommend this transformation between 26 and 32 we <\/strong>ken pregnancy<\/strong>.<\/p>


      The images are processed by special software. This can take up to 7 business days<\/strong>. Then we send the images via E-mail, along with a comparison photo. <\/p>
